Family, friends, and faith are the three essentials in my life. I’ve been married to my wife, Ashley, for 10 years. We have three wonderful children who attend Nettleton Public Schools. We also have a 7-year-old black lab named Harley. We are a proud part of the Raider family. I work as the Executive Director of Development for Arkansas State University where my job allows me to interact with students, alumni, and businesses to secure scholarships to help more and more young people lower the cost of their college education. It is a very rewarding position and it allows me to come into contact with a wide array of folks and it also keeps me in touch with the needs in the community. My family is active at The Word Campus at Central Baptist Church. I am also involved in local youth athletics and have coached football, basketball, soccer, and baseball over the past 7 years. Other positions that I have held in the community include being a part of the Jonesboro Baseball Boosters, the Chamber of Commerce Quality of Life Committee, and the PACES Board. When I am not involved with my family and my job, my favorite thing to do is to cheer on the Red Wolves. My favorite memory from following the Red Wolves was the first conference championship we won under Hugh Freeze. Watching the team continue to grow under each successive coach has also been a great accomplishment. I love my city and I am dedicated to promoting the best interests of the residents of Jonesboro. #ForwardTogether #VoteMcClain
